Nexty
Privacy Policy
The short version: Nexty collects nothing. There is no account, no server and no analytics. Everything you type stays on your phone, and I have no way to see it.
Nexty is made by one person, Álvaro Gallardo. This page explains in plain language what happens to your information when you use the app. No lawyer wrote it, because there isn't much to say.
Everything lives on your phone
Your tasks, routines, dopamine menu, focus sessions and preferences are stored in a database on your device. That's the entire system. There is no Nexty server, no account to create, nothing to log in to, and nothing gets uploaded anywhere.
This is a deliberate design decision, not a temporary state. Nexty was built local-first so that your plans — which can be personal — never leave your hands.
What I collect: nothing
- No personal data. I never ask for your name, email, or anything else.
- No analytics. I don't know which screens you open, or whether you open the app at all.
- No trackers, no advertising, no third-party SDKs watching you.
- Nothing is sold or shared, because there is nothing to sell or share.
This isn't a promise not to look. There is nowhere for me to look.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled by your phone, on your phone. There is no push server involved, and no notification ever travels over the internet.
Purchases and subscriptions
If you subscribe to Premium, Apple processes the payment through the App Store. To check whether a subscription is active, Nexty uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous purchase identifier tied to the transaction — not to you.
I never receive or store payment details. I never see your card, your billing address or your Apple ID. What Apple and RevenueCat do with purchase data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and your data goes with it, because the only copy was on your phone. There is no "delete my account" request to send: there is no account, and I hold nothing of yours.
The flip side is worth knowing. This version has no backup and no sync, so if you delete Nexty or lose the phone, the data is gone for good.
If this ever changes
If a future version does something new with data — optional sync, say — I'll update this page and the date at the top, and describe the change in the app's release notes. Anything of that kind would be opt-in.
